Salience is Lexalytics' flagship product for extracting essential business intelligence from unstructured content.
 
Salience Five represented a major step forward with the inclusion of the Concept Matrix(TM), an enabling technology for relating content through the conceptual relationships derived from an analysis of Wikipedia. Additionally, Salience Five adds the capability of analyzing sets of documents as a collection.
 
Salience 5.1.1 provided improvements and enhancements to sentiment analysis, expanded options, and improvements to the API.
 
Salience 5.2 included significant changes to summarization including an expanded set of options for controlling summary output.
 
Salience 6 represents another major step forward with new functionality in the form of intention detection, multiple configurations, model-based classification, enhancements to query topic functionality, improvements to sentiment analysis, and more.

  • Fixed failed casts to normalized forms for entities which were throwing "Unsupported cast in generic parser expression" exceptions
  • Entity and theme sentiment scores now match when enabling/disabling the "Sentiment All Phrases" option
